All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office provides reporting tools, resolved UAP cases, and other resources.
The Department of Defense has introduced a website dedicated to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) to supply information regarding its mission to investigate and resolve unexplained and anomalous phenomena. The website will feature declassified and approved photos, videos, and details of resolved Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) cases. It will also offer reporting trends, a frequently asked questions section, and links to official reports, transcripts, press releases, various resources, relevant regulations, and tracking sites for aircraft, balloons, and satellites.
Under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, AARO will launch a secure reporting tool on its website for current and former U.S. government employees, service members, or contractors with direct knowledge of government programs or activities to make reports. The department is reviewing the mechanism to guarantee compliance with various laws, including the Privacy Act of 1974, the Whistleblower Protections Enhancement Act of 2012, the Federal Employee Anti-discrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002 (No FEAR Act), and the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
For the moment, current U.S. service members, government employees, and civil aviators are encouraged to use their organizations’ existing reporting channels. A resource for the general public to submit reports will be announced in the future.
